The Final Inquiry for Lenten Entertainment
In this holy season, I came across this film that tells an unusual story after the death of Christ. I chose not to be a critique in giving this buzz as it may seem to have rough reviews from the past. I saw the sneak peek from godtube.com and thought it’s worth watching in time for Lent. So I got a copy from the net and soon watched it with hubby. I recommend you view it first before reading the reviews. Otherwise it will disrupt the thrill and focus on the less important details rather than the main catch of finding ‘the Way’.
It is about the story of a Roman soldier (Daniele Liotti aka Tito Valerio Tauro) who was dispatched to investigate the death of Jesus. He was sent to Jerusalem with Brixos (Dolph Lundgren) who plays the role of a slave and protector of Tauro. Later in the movie an emerging love story between Monica Cruz as Tabitha and Tauro moved me with the miracle that has happened to both of them.
Overall it is good for its genre. May you find time to reflect the message of it as you go through the journey of finding the truth in “The Final Inquiry”.
