I was surprised to hear that Ziff Davis Media, which is a the major publishing firm in the US has filed bankruptcy protection. This is one of the worst scenario ever in a business. Bankruptcy does not affect only the company itself, but also the employees working with it and the customers who also rely on the service provided by the company.

There are several reasons behind bankruptcy and we could only speculate that this maybe due to over expansion of their business or they have lost money due to bad debts or collectible money from clients. In short bankruptcy is not a good thing for a business and it’s good that the US government have this bankruptcy protection program to help companies that need a little boost to get back on their feet again.

If the financial trouble or deficit is caused by customer debts or uncollected income from clients; rather than lack of capital professional Collection Agency like American Profit Recover (APR) could be sought to help solve the problem. Collection agencies serve both big and small businesses and they do a good job in forcing creditors to pay on your own term instead of theirs.

It is one of the many ways to deal a financial disaster depending on the situation . For Ziff Davis Media, it’s a bankruptcy protection to restructure its debt load and reorganize its operations. At their concert at the Alliance Francaise in Bangkok, the three musicians will offer a programme beginning with Haydn and Beethoven. The concert will end with Mozart’s String Trio Kv 563, renowned as one of the greatest works in chamber music.

Indian and subcontinental foods are yum! Agree? “I would rather starve that eat these kind of food,” was my mantra before.  I can’t really bear the stench from the spices that they add on it. I normally associate it with having body odor.  But having been exposed to such pungent aroma. Little by little my sense of smell and dramatically my sense of taste have adjusted to it. Now I can finish my serving of chicken curry paired with cheese or garlic Nan for lunch/dinner. I’m enjoying it as much as I enjoy spicy Thai food.

I’m posting here a list of 31 publishers and online databases of journal articles that could help you do your research in no time. This may not be the complete list of resources but somehow these are what most people encounter. Googling the title of the article first could help you determine which publisher it belongs. In other cases, one journal article have a possibility to appear in different publisher/provider. After locating the publisher, look for the Journal Title, find its volume, number, page and the year it was published. Journals often come in HTML and PDF files. I’m more convenient in keeping PDF full texts as it’s easier to file and search if needed. Creating a hard copy out of PDF file is also faster and manageable for back to back printing.
