Sidewalk Vendors

Everywhere you go in Thailand you will find scenes like this on the sidewalk.  Poor me, time is too scarce each Sunday as I can’t stop for a few more minutes to choose the things I like on the way to the sky train.  I am always in a hurry to attend the meetings with my husband.

Finally this week I was able to capture it on my camera.  And so I am posting it here for you to get a glimpse at the small business sight on the streets in Bangkok.  I remember few years ago, around 2002 they use to close the whole street of Silom during Sundays for the “walking in Silom” market day.  At the strike of 6 vendors would line up their thin carpets or linens on the long stretch of the road and displays their stuffs for sale.
