Current Buzz for Thailand

There is a rising concern in the urban district of Bangkok for the past few months now.  Thai activists, almost all wearing a yellow shirt in reverence to the King have paraded outside the territories of the parliament building near the vicinity of UN offices.

If you plan to come to Thailand, it’s really not a big scare to push through with your travels even if you plan to roam around the city.  It is not terrifying as you may think of because the rallyists does not control the whole country.  The airport is too far from chaos.  So when you arrive you will feel that there’s nothing intense happening at all.  Normal flow of income in the shopping districts are uninterrupted.  It is business as usual they say.

To note from yahoo news update, the overall situation is said that “the upheaval comes at a tough time: the Thai stock market has sunk nearly 40 percent since May; a Muslim insurgency rages in the south; the rich tourist market has shrunk; and Thailand’s great unifying figure, King Bhumibol Adulyadej, is 80, raising great concern about how the nation will cope with the eventual succession to the throne.”  Only a word from his Royal Highness will restore everything to order at once.  When that time comes it will be another glorious day to celebrate for the greater good of the country I call my second home.
