Pet Party Planning Business

One of the popular business in New York is dog sitting and dog walking. New York people are extremely busy people.  Oftentimes they just drop off their pets to be looked after by somebody while they go to work or vacation. So pet sitting and walking is a good business there. Caretakers earn around $30 - $40 per hour for 2 to 3 dogs.

But I have a better idea for caretakers or shall we call it pet lovers business. While looking after the dogs you get to know more about the pet and the owner so you could expand the business than just dog sitting, day care and grooming salon.

There is a new trend of pet enthusiasts actually calling themselves pet party planners. Recently I saw it being featured in one of the Pet Blog.  In most cases, they also offer venues where events are held. Although I do know of some who travel and arrange events in places such as parks or other open areas. This is a nice way to arrange things in order that will give less burden to the owners who are extremely busy and have limited knowledge on event planning.
