A Business that Changes Lives

Running a rehabilitation business could be very challenging yet rewarding. I remember long time ago, I visited a rehabilitation center as part of our immersion class in college. It was for the purpose of exposing us to the possible results of Drug Abuse. We were allowed to interact with people who waged war against their negative desires. The physicians were accommodating to answer our questions and also their spokesperson–a single person regarded as the leader among the group of patients. I have learned that they were held in that place, with parents/guardians consent, to undergo treatment and life changing experiences.
There were several stages designed to finish until they finally get the chance to face the public once again. Patients have to go through detoxification as the first stage, and all sorts of mental, physical, emotional and social healing.
Only few were permitted to visit their family for fear that they might not resist the temptation once presented again. That is why others cannot fully recover because they continue to engage on the same activities and meet the same set of friends when at home. So the rehab is situated in a secluded place with complete sports & recreation amenities and livelihood programs.
Those who persevered were rewarded and became more better individuals. They are able to face their problem boldly and with conviction.
